What classes does GANADA offer?
Regular courses (morning/afternoon/evening/Saturday), intensive speaking, TOPIK preparation, the 1-week special program, private lessons (including business) and group contract classes.
What are the regular course hours?
Courses generally run as morning, afternoon, evening (for workers) and weekend (Saturday) classes, so you can choose what fits your schedule.
How many students per class?
We keep classes small for effective speaking practice and close care. Sizes usually range around 5–15 depending on the class, and a class opens from 3 students.
Can absolute beginners (who don't know Hangul) enroll?
Yes. An introductory course starting from consonant and vowel pronunciation lets you learn step by step from the basics.
What language are classes taught in?
We pursue Korean immersion education, so classes are basically conducted in Korean. However, at the absolute-beginner stage or when needed, a support language (English, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) may be used partially to aid understanding, and because we use a variety of visual materials, communication happens without difficulty.
Is the placement level test mandatory?
If you have studied Korean before, a level test is required to place you in the class that fits you best. (Absolute beginners are exempt.)
How is the level test conducted?
It is done online or in person at the institute, with a writing test and a speaking (interview) test to evaluate your overall proficiency.
Which textbook do you use?
We use our own New GANADA KOREAN series. The main textbook is used together with the workbook and vocabulary book as supplements.
How many levels are there?
It is divided into six stages — Beginner 1·2, Intermediate 1·2 and Advanced 1·2 — closely aligned with the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) grade system.
I want to prepare for the TOPIK exam.
We offer a TOPIK preparation class. Section-by-section strategies and practical drills help you reach your target grade.
I'm a working professional — are there classes I can take?
We run evening classes (Tue·Thu) and a Saturday class for workers and international students. You can choose what fits your schedule.
Can I take the evening class online too?
Yes. The online evening class runs online with the same schedule, target, content, tuition and textbook as the offline evening class.
Do you have 1:1 customized lessons?
We offer private lessons and business private lessons. The curriculum can be freely arranged around your learning goals and schedule.
Do you offer group training for company employees?
Yes, we run group contract classes, delivered as customized programs to meet the requests of institutions and companies.
I want to study intensively for just a short period.
We have a 1-week special program (short-term course). You can experience Korean language and culture intensively in a short time.
